Buildings man, how do they WORK (this is not how they work. One of my hopes in diving into comicking was that I'd get practice drawing all kinds of crap, obviously the reward is still in the future.) On a more positive note I'm learning that even if backgrounds seem like a pain in the ass it is totally worth it to just put as much effort into them as possible (see panel 4, at first I wasn't going to include the street and sidewalk, but it looked AWFUL that way.)

Hey, at least you can draw people AND buildings. :D I still draw houses like I'm in the 4th grade...>:/
THIS is why I haven't dared to make a comic yet, also. Because I'd skimp on all background details as much as possible...I can't even draw a sofa!! grr.

Sofas are remarkably hard; every one I draw aside from Eddie's looks like an Ektorp couch xD I skimp on some pages still, my brain doesn't want to think of angles to draw that are actually easy for me :P
